I have wanted to be a journalist for my whole life.
And that dream is starting to come true!
I am beyond proud to have joined the 22News team in April of 2024 as the Massachusetts State House Reporter.
I’m a graduate of Simmons University, holding a B.A. in Journalism. While in college, I minored in History, Political Science, and Integrated Media. For two years, I held the position of Editor-in-Chief of the university’s student-run newspaper, The Simmons Voice. Additionally, I was an intern at the WGBH News’ Politics Desk and interned with the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators.
I am so excited to be back in the State House to cover the state’s political landscape, legislative changes, and information that can impact the lives of my viewers in western Massachusetts.
In my free time, I like to read, bike long distances, hang out with her cat,s, Rello and Siena, and search for the best cappuccino in Boston. I am most proud of biking 4,000 miles cross-country for affordable housing in the summer of 2022 (check out the pictures of our final day to the left)!
My journalist interests are diverse–I love to apply the principles I’ve learned in my Political Science classes to news articles, and I have a true passion for reviewing ballet and Broadway shows. I am a quick learner, and bring enthusiasm and drive to all of my endeavors.
